A retaining wall fails when water builds up behind it or the base moves. We excavate and compact a proper footing of granular, set a level base course, backfill with clear stone and weeping tile to drain it, and add geogrid reinforcement on taller walls so it stays put through freeze-thaw.

Walls past a certain height can need engineering or a permit. If yours does, we’ll tell you up front and build to code. You get a clear written quote before anything starts.
